About the Bloom Company
Meet Cindy and Kyler Danowski, head Bloomers at 206.
Cindy Danowski is a 1993 graduate from Graves County High School, right here in Mayfield. Following graduation, she went on to study Dental Hygiene at SIU Carbondale, which led her to a 22-year run in the field before retiring in April of 2019. Cindy spent some time during high school holidays helping at Town and Country Florist in Mayfield, which sparked her creativity and interest in floristry.
Kyler Danowski was born and raised in Mayfield, KY. He graduated from Mayfield High in 2016 and went on to earn an associate degree in arts online at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Kyler spent quite come time considering various careers (from high school English teacher to funeral director to graphic designer), but nothing felt right. Growing up in community theatre, he was able to express his creativity both as an actor and director. At a young age, Kyler enjoyed decorating for Christmas, and still does, which led his love for Hobby Lobby and creating beautiful silk flower wreaths!
In September of 2019, the Danowski family began a search for the perfect building in Mayfield to house their floral design studio. After what felt like an endless search, they found their spot to “bloom” on West Broadway in Mayfield. In November, The Bloom Company became a reality, and later opened on January 3, 2020.
